One of the most user-friendly infotainment systems currently available is included on the BMW M1. There aren’t a lot of unnecessary touches to do a task, the menus make sense, and most things are where you’d expect them to be. A responsive touchscreen, a rotary dial/touchpad located next to the gear selector, and voice instructions and hand gestures are the three primary methods of interaction.
In and of itself, the gear selector isn’t my cup of tea because it’s fussy and confusing. One other thing: it’s hard to see where you’re going when you’re driving. Driving in congested urban areas and parking garages may be nerve-wracking due to the large blind spots found everywhere.
