Every X7 has an air suspension with adjustable dampers as standard, and the chassis can be upgraded with features such active anti-roll bars to dampen body movements and rear-axle steering, which are available. The X7’s steering is precise and well-weighted, and the vehicle’s handling is surprisingly nimble for an SUV of its size.

The 2026 X7’s inline-six engine is the most fuel-efficient option. The EPA rated that xDrive40i variant at 21/25 highway/city mpg.
