New 2027 BMW 3 Series Review, Price, Engine
New 2027 BMW 3 Series Review, Price, Engine – The 3 Series is BMW’s latest attempt to reclaim the premium segment, with an emphasis on plush interiors and state-of-the-art technology rather than driver engagement.
The 3 Series’ unique selling points have allegedly been abandoned by BMW, according to critics. We anticipate that the redesigned 2027 BMW 3 Series will feature modernized design elements and advanced technology. This car has also had its suspension tweaked to make it handle better. New 2027 BMW 3 Series Redesign and Update Plan
Exterior and Interior
The subdued 3 Series is the way to go if you’re looking for a sport sedan. Indeed, it is attractive, and the extra M Sport package does make it stand out a bit more. With its 19-inch Frozen Midnight gray alloy wheels and the new Arctic Race Blue Metallic paint that was introduced for 2026, my tester practically disappeared into the gray environment.
Although the 3 Series would have stood out more, the less flashy buck-tooth kidney grille would have turned off potential purchasers of more understated sedans, therefore it’s perhaps for the best that BMW refrained from doing so. However, I will state unequivocally that the M3 and 4 Series’ large grilles are really appealing. You have our utmost concern, Peter. No joke.-Edited [text]
Once you step inside, the narrative changes. With its optional Ash Grey Blue open-pored wood trim and Cognac-colored perforated faux-leather upholstery, this tester’s cabin exudes an air of refined sophistication. Built to a high quality, it is light and airy. New 2027 also features a redesigned steering wheel among its interior upgrades.
New 2027 BMW 3 Series Specs
includes a number of features as standard, including a frontal collision warning system with automated emergency braking, parking sensors (front and back), traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring (with rear cross-traffic alert), rear collision avoidance software, and more. The Advanced Driver Assistance option adds adaptive cruise control and steering aid, giving the vehicle some degree of autonomy in stop-and-go traffic.
Engine and Performance
The automotive world is rife with turbocharged 2.0L engines, and this particular four-cylinder is one of the best. Smooth, linear, and blessed with a sonorous soundtrack (some of which is piped in through the audio system), the 2.0L feels like it’s packing more than the advertised 255 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque in base 330i trim. It’s got punch and personality, and BMW claims this all-wheel-drive example shoots to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds. New 2027 BMW 3 Series Review
A 48-volt mild-hybrid system uses an integrated starter-generator unit that adds “torque fill” for smoothing out shifts and a slight boost when accelerating off the line. BMW has managed to make this engine feel and sound premium. Its robust midrange gives the 330i a relaxed gait on the highway, too. Torque is routed through the excellent ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic transmission.
New 2027 BMW 3 Series Fuel Economy
Here’s the icing on the cake: BMW’s sweet and punchy turbo four-cylinder is remarkably fuel efficient. My wintry week of tooling around the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) came in at an indicated average of 7.7 L/100 km, slightly less than its official combined rating of 8.0. On an extended highway run, and with eco mode activated, fuel consumption dipped to 6.7 L/100 km. Premium fuel is required. New 2027 BMW 3 Series Review

New 2027 BMW 3 Series Price and Release Date
With a starting price of $56,900, the 2026 BMW 330i isn’t cheap. But spend any time with this accomplished sedan and you’ll soon realize that it looks and drives expensive. With a few packages and options this tester’s ask swelled to $64,550, yet it felt worth every penny. It’s also worth noting this four-cylinder delivers a level of performance that won’t have you slapping your forehead with regret over skipping the six-cylinder-powered M340i. New 2027 BMW 3 Series Review
When it comes to small premium sedans, the BMW 3 Series has consistently been at the head of the class. And while it might not lord over its competitors like it once did, this tidy sedan still retains that intrinsic front engine/rear-drive bias that’s oh-so BMW-specific. Yes, much of the 3 Series’s directness has been muted over recent years, yet get this 2026 330i on your favourite back road, call up sport+, and this sedan leaps to attention in a way that few of its rivals can.
